Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge. The RN functions as a core member of the IDG team. The registered nurse is an experienced nurse who shall orient new staff and precept students as assigned.ExperienceOne year experience as a nurse is Preferred. A minimum of two years home health experience within the last five years is preferred. Spanish speaking preferred.EducationBachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.Must pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment of patients requiring the applicable skill, and must complete and pass all annual competencies.Licensure/CertificationsState of California RN license required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required. Hospice certification preferred. Must possess a valid California driver’s license.This position requires driving.
