
Inventory Analyst I (Entry Level)

- Ensures adequate item cost valuation by processing transactional data.
- Data entry of supplier invoice line-item details to ensure accurate inventory costing.
- Identify, communicate, and work through exceptions to standard processing.
- Research items through large data sets and creative techniques to identify resolution.
- Review data and research of other team members to ensure consistent treatment.
- Prepare weekly and monthly analysis of certain key inventory performance indexes and other analysis.
- Manage aspects of the quarterly and yearly physical inventory process.
- Work with team members and managers to ensure internal controls are in place and operating effectively.
- Work with and support clinic teams in a consultative manner.
- Solve problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Partner cross-functionally to optimize upstream process flow and downstream impacts of inventory purchasing data.
- Assists in developing and documenting business processes.
- Supports system testing for replacement, upgrades, and enhancements of related systems.
- Collaborates with internal and external teams in own area of expertise.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree -OR- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience using Excel (intermediate).
- Ability to learn and apply professional concepts.
- Applies company standards and policies to resolve routine issues.
- Passion for quick and accurate data entry.
- Customer service orientation with understanding of business partner relationships.
- Ability to use Outlook, Word, SharePoint (basic). SQL (basic to intermediate) knowledge helpful.
- Familiar with basic accounting principles and practices.
- Understanding of inventory, accounts payable, and/or general ledger systems and processes.
- Able to perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately.
