The Athletic Trainer serves as a member of the Athletics Department and reports directly to the Director of Athletics. Penn State Behrend is a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) and has 24 varsity sports programs.Job Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day preventative, ongoing, and rehabilitative medical care for student-athletes at Penn State Behrend.Acts as a liaison between external health care providers, doctors, and other medical professionals.Lead the departmental compliance efforts for AED/CPR training and organization.Plan and develop all departmental goals and objectives, assuring commitment to equity and inclusion in all aspects of student engagement with athletics, gender equity, and successful athletics experiences by all students.Education:Bachelor’s Degree or higher; Master’s Degree preferredMinimum of 2+ years related experienceOr an equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Certifications, Registrations, or Licensure: BOC Certified Athletic Trainer; PA State Licensed Athletic Trainer; Certified Health Care Provider (CPR/AED)The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position:
