BH Solutions Group is an Executive Recruiting and Consulting firm located in Akron, OH.We have been retained by an outdoor and landscaping lighting business to assist with their search for a creative, organized, and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to oversee multi-brand social presence, produce high-impact content, and build authentic community engagement. This role requires hands-on content creation, on-camera hosting, influencer relationship management, and cross-functional coordination to keep all brands fresh, relevant, and connected to their audiences.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities for the Social Media ManagerContent Creation & Publishing
  • Capture photo and video content on location at company's three brand installations.
  • Plan, shoot, edit, and publish platform-native content including Reels, Stories, and carousels.
  • Serve as an on-camera host or brand face when needed.
  • Create content in strategic packages rather than one-off posts, focusing on moments that drive conversions.
  • Maintain brand voice while tailoring tone and style to each platform and brand identity.
Social Media Management
  • Manage and grow all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) across the company's three brands.
  • Build and maintain a robust multi-brand content calendar.
  • Monitor performance analytics and implement strategies to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithm changes, and creative best practices.
  • Respond to DMs, comments, tags, and inquiries promptly and with empathy.
Community & Influencer Engagement
  • Identify, vet, and build a pipeline of influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Manage influencer communications, gifting logistics, and content approvals.
  • Track and respond to customer touchpoints, FAQs, and booking inquiries originating from social channels.
  • Actively engage in comment sections and repost/tag customers and brand partners.
Collaboration & Coordination
  • Build and manage a shared Gantt + editorial calendar with deadlines and approvals.
  • Partner with retail managers, event teams, PR, and creative staff for asset needs.
  • Coordinate timelines for content review, edits, and publishing.
  • Integrate events, sales promotions, and product launches into social media plans.
Education/ExperienceRequirements for the Social Media Manager
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field is preferred-but not a requirement if you bring relevant experience and a strong portfolio
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on social media management experience - brand-side or agency
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing brand accounts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Proven experience managing brand social media accounts and content creation.
  • Skilled in photography, videography, and editing for multiple platforms.
  • Strong copywriting ability with adaptable tone and voice.
  • Comfortable and confident appearing on camera.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities across brands.
  • Experience with influencer outreach and community building preferred.
  • Travel between markets (Houston, Dallas, Madisonville) with autonomy and excellent judgment.

  • Understanding of Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
  • Familiarity with how legacy and web-based system interfaces with each other.
  • eCommerce experience preferred.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies a plus.
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
