Our employees are not only part of history - they are making history.Northrop Grumman CIDO - Enterprise Classified Solutions is seeking a well-qualified Windows Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team of technical professionals in Redondo Beach, CA.Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows workstations and servers.
Installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management of systems.
Developing and documenting technical processes and procedures as needed.
Collaborating with other teams: users, network engineers, cybersecurity and IT management.
Participate in special projects and team initiatives
Reviewing trouble ticket queues to identify issues that need to be addressed.
Working through the ticket queue without intervening management direction (self-motivated).
Establishing and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Exhibiting good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers.
Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
Lifting equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.

Must have at minimum a relevant Masters Degree with 0 years of related experience OR a Bachelors Degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR an Associates Degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
Must have At least 2 years of experience with Windows Server OS (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs)
Must have a current DOD 8570 IAT level 2 baseline certification (example: Security+ CE); OR must have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of start date.
Must have an active DOD Secret level security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science or other technical based degree
Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments
Knowledge of running and remediating Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) findings on Windows systems
Experience with Windows Active Directory, VMWare, and knowledge of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)
Scripting experience with PowerShell
Knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools (Trellix/SolarWinds/Splunk)
Knowledge networking protocols, subnetting, VLANs
Windows or VMware Certification (ex. Microsoft, CompTIA, VMware, etc.)

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
