We are currently seeking an experienced Radio Frequency System Technician to support a growing team.Possesses over three years of hands-on experience working with radio frequency communication systems or IT infrastructure. While a two-year technical degree in electronics is beneficial, equivalent professional experience ranging from three to eight years is also acceptable in place of formal education.Demonstrates familiarity with RF-based technologies such as signal transmitters, receivers, microwave links, and antenna systems, or alternatively, a background in IT operations involving server environments, user management systems, virtualization platforms, open-source operating systems, networking hardware, and internet protocols.Capable of collecting and interpreting a variety of technical performance metrics, including signal strength readings, cable diagnostics, frequency alignments, system uptime, network throughput, and traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark.Experienced in utilizing diagnostic and measurement instruments such as signal analyzers, line testers, RF diagnostic tools, IP traffic monitors, and working with various interfaces and command-line environments across Cisco and Linux platforms.Physically able to transport equipment weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.Holds a valid U.S. driver's license and meets requirements for routine travel to diverse client locations—including remote sites—for on-site technical service and system maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Delivers technical expertise in support of complex communications solutions and their deployment. Conducts regular maintenance checks to ensure systems are functioning optimally, emphasizing detailed logging and identification of performance patterns. Troubleshoots hardware and software-based components, supports system provisioning, and fine-tunes RF, microwave, and IT infrastructures—including traditional analog systems, digital P25 networks, and virtualized IT platforms integrated with network hardware.
