OverviewDirects a major part of the organization's sales activities, such as a given channel, product line, major/strategic accounts, region or country. The sales executive's channel, product line, major/strategic accounts or region may be global in scope or limited to a specific region or country. May develop sales strategies and sales volume forecasts for a major part of the sales function.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for defining, creating, and executing the overall Market Team Sales Strategy.
- Participate in the development of market team’s strategy, providing leadership and challenge to test the viability of the strategy and contributing creative ideas/insights to support the strategy formation process.
- Contribute to the development of annual and longer-term business plans for a strategic function, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategy; quantify business outcomes, set resource budgets; review & approve business cases for programs with a strategic business impact.
- Set and communicate mission, vision, and values and the strategy for delivering these tenets within a strategic function or diverse international organization; inspire a diverse workforce to commit to these tenets to achieve the organization's goals.
- Collaborate frequently and effectively with the Head of Service as well as other critical COE team members to support client retention and revenue goals while refining and optimizing the overall client experience and workflow process.
- Lead execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
- Accountable for the design, development, and delivery of the organization's brand strategy and improve the brand value of multiple brands.
- Contribute to the development of business performance objectives and lead their delivery for a strategic organization; hold direct reports accountable for achievement of annual and longer-term business objectives; take corrective action where necessary to ensure achievement of overall business goals, balance short-term business objectives with long-term delivery of stakeholder value.
- Develop and maintain professional interpersonal relationships with corporate senior executives of strategic potential accounts to facilitate business acquisition and retention.
- Represent the organization or institution in a variety of industry, institutional, and/or professional forums, boards, and committees to promote the company or institution brand or efforts.
- Maintain active industry connections to obtain market intelligence and opportunities for strategic Merger and Acquisition opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
