Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working ITAD Technician for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing the disposition process of IT assets.Pay Rate
$17.00 per hourSchedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm.ITAD Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute data sanitization procedures to securely wipe data from IT assets using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and data security standards
- This position will play a critical role in secure and efficient disposal, repurposing, or recycling of IT equipment
- Maintaining safe environment
- High school diploma or equivalent: additional certifications or training in IT asset management
- Proven experience working in IT asset disposition, and electronics
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedure in handling IT assets
