- Install, troubleshoot, and repair advanced pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing systems, and automation panels.
- Conduct site diagnostics, interpret schematics, and execute complex system repairs.
- Retrofit and upgrade aging equipment with modern systems for efficiency and safety.
- Provide field mentoring to junior techs and coordinate multi-site service schedules.
- Document work orders, track materials, and manage inventory on the service truck.
- Communicate clearly with clients on service timelines, upgrades, and maintenance recommendations.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, local code, and safety best practices.
- Collaborate with team leads and operations managers to improve service delivery and technical performance.
- 3–7 years of mechanical experience (HVAC, military technical field, commercial equipment repair, or similar).
- Transferable technical skills—fluid systems, electrical diagnostics, pumps, motors, or automation.
- Experience working in the field independently and solving customer-facing issues.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, interpret technical manuals, and perform system installations.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with pool systems before but not required—we will train the right mechanically skilled candidate.
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
