Summary (Essential Functions): Quality Patron Surveillance is the primary function of this important position. Lifeguards are tasked with implementing and enforcing water safety policies and procedures and assisting with facility operations and transitions to create an inviting and fluid flow for all members, guests and children utilizing the club pools.Details: Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
Attentive supervision of swimmers at all times to ensure safety.
Perform pre-opening and closing duties for a clean and efficient facility.
Assist with ongoing attention to debris: skimmers, vacuum set up, skim net.
Assist with the maintenance of amenities and locker rooms.
Administer minor first aid as needed.
Assist with check -ins for members and guests, special event set ups, providing information for lessons, and all swim team activities as directed by the Aquatics Director.
Inform Aquatics Director, Management or Head Guard of any unresolved member or guest disruptions that cause safety or operational issues.
Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the Aquatics Director.
