- Provide Applications support activities for our rheology and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) product lines. This includes our Discovery™ Hybrid Rheometer series, ARES and RSA product lines, and DMA 850 instrument.
- Develop methods, conduct feasibility tests to characterize customer samples, and analyze data to support sales efforts.
- Lead training courses, both lecture based and hands-on at customer sites, for employees and external customers.
- Partner with strategic marketing and product management to identify and create technical content to support growth and strategic initiatives
- Provide technical expertise to customers by email, phone, and in person.
- Maintain applications lab facilities
- Participation in conferences and tradeshows
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Masters or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant industrial experience.
- Has a solid understanding of rheology, mechanical testing, and instrumentation.
- Prior experience with TA Instruments software and instrumentation preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel by both air and ground carrier. Both domestically and internationally.
