Employee Services AssistantLocation: Grand Rapids, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Pay Range: $18.00 – $23.00/hour (based on experience)

We value structure, accountability, and employee support while maintaining a welcoming, family-oriented culture.Position SummaryWe are seeking an Employee Services Assistant with a strong focus on recruiting. Most of your time will be spent managing the hiring process - from job postings to interviews and onboarding new team members. In addition, you'll assist HR with projects and provide support on operations-related tasks such as asset tracking, compliance, and scheduling. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and supporting multiple areas of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Onboarding (Primary Focus)
  • Post and manage job listings across multiple platforms
  • Screen resumes and pre-qualify applicants
  • Conduct virtual interviews and schedule in-person interviews
  • Maintain candidate pipeline and provide timely communication
  • Track completion of performance reviews
HR & Employee Services
  • Assist HR with projects and ongoing initiatives
  • Collect and track licenses, certifications, and training completion
  • Help coordinate employee recognition (e.g., birthdays, milestones)
  • Maintain organized HR files and records
Operations-Related Tasks
  • Assign equipment, tablets, gas cards, key fobs, uniforms, and vehicles
  • Track company assets and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with compliance tasks and documentation
  • Help with scheduling safety trainings
  • Provide support with software administration and setup
  • Serve as the first point of contact for company asset-related issues
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in recruiting, HR support, or administrative coordination (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/365; experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset
