- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 3 years of relevant experience; or a PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with no relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Electric Machine design and analysis.
- Experience implementing designs.
- Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles for power generator or force production.
- Solid understanding of construction / manufacturing methods of electric machines.
- Demonstrated technical team leadership.
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 7 years of relevant experience; or a PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 4 years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Electric Machine design and analysis.
- Experience implementing designs.
- Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles for power generator or force production.
- Solid understanding of construction / manufacturing methods of electric machines.
- Demonstrated technical team leadership.
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Master of Science or Ph.D. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Degree.
- 7+ years of electrical machine and/or inverter / drive engineering experience.
- Experience with software for system evaluation such as Matlab Simulink, Simplorer, etc.
- Electromagnetic analysis experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS Maxwell, Altair Flux 2D/3D, or similar type of electromagnetic analysis software.
- Experience with electric machines for marine propulsion applications.
- Experience with naval nuclear propulsion programs.
