Applied Innovation is seeking a customer service oriented and analytical individual to focus on presales engineering and presenting and post sales account management as a vCIO/Technical Account Manager. The vCIO/Technical Account Manager will report directly to the vCIO Manager. This is typically a Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM position located at the South Bend Indiana office at 4070 Meghan Beeler Ct, South Bend, IN 46628.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Sales
  • Supporting and participating in the pre-sales process, including discussing the product stack, business technology roadmap, and performing the network discovery.
  • Effectively listening to the clients and understanding their technology needs and budget constraints.
  • Documenting the clients’ technology environment.
  • Determining products and services needed to bring the client environment into a good working order.
  • Working with Sales and administration to provide client quotes.
  • Facilitating client onboarding with the Service team.
  • Managing client onboarding and scheduling initial business technology roadmap review.
  • Post-Sales
  • Compiling recent client activity and researching technology trends to create business technology roadmaps.
  • Reviewing the technology roadmap with the client, listening to the clients’ needs and providing expert technology advice.
  • Meeting with the Service team to provide client feedback.
  • Continually advising clients on technology trends and opportunities within their environments.
  • Building, developing, and growing business relationships vital to the success of NetSmart Plus.
  • Facilitating meetings and strategic planning sessions with clients.
  • Communicating in an upbeat, positive and professional manner.
  • Providing guidance and support to Technology Specialists.
  • Keeping up-to-date on new software and hardware.
  • Successfully managing time with little management oversight.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess familiarity of the following:
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems and productivity software
  • Apple iOS/Android OS based smartphones and tablets
  • Setup, Configuration, and Administration of Exchange and Office 365
  • Windows Server Setup Configuration and Administration
  • VMWare Server Setup Configuration and Administration
  • Managed Switch and Router, Configuration and Administration
  • Firewall Configuration and Administration
  • Wireless Network Configuration and Administration
  • Backup Configuration and Administration
  • Ability to present in a small group setting.
  • Ability to master the feature set of a defined product line.
  • Ability to interpret complex network topologies.
  • Ability to coach team members through the remediation of complex and multifaceted problems.
  • Ability to manage and meet multiple project deadlines.
  • Ability to follow and write procedural instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Must be dependable, professional, organized, detailed oriented and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and manage new systems related to information technology
  • High degree of flexibility and problem solving
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Good Driving Record
  • No DUI's in the past 5 years
Education/License/Experience Requirements:
  • Two-year degree in Networking, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field
  • Three or more years of experience working in a high-level Network Administrator or System Engineer role or in IT Management

This position is considered active. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
