OverviewIn conjunction with the Director, lead or support various stewardship activities, including communications, strategic initiatives, donor acknowledgement, and impact reporting.
Essential Duties:
  • Lead and maintain stewardship reporting, including but not limited to current-use and endowed fund reports and the annual donor gratitude impact report. Under the direction and guidance of the director and in collaboration with Financial Aid and Financial Services, execute the annual endowment reporting process. Collaborate with IA and Marketing & Communications teams to lead production of the annual donor gratitude report, including evaluating data, procuring donor stores, and creating video content.
  • Collaborate with the Annual Giving team to refine, implement, and refresh existing stewardship pieces, including but not limited to language for gift receipt, special communications, and recognition for first time donors and loyal annual donors, recognizing donor behavior. Identify opportunities and recommend creative opportunities to steward donor investment in the Fund for Providence College annual fund.
  • Collaborate with Annual Giving, Athletics, and Advancement Services to strategize and recommend updates to gift acknowledgement processes. Work with the stewardship coordinator and major and principal gift teams to create highly customized acknowledgements from college leadership designed to acknowledge major ($100K+) and principal ($IM+) gifts and share gratitude. Communications will incorporate the “voice” of the president and other college leaders.
  • In conjunction with Financial Services, work to obtain and audit financial information of endowed funds and provide quarterly gift reports to fund donors, keeping donors updated on contributions and fund values. Create and share gift reports with select campus partners for the purpose of facilitating enhanced stewardship including but not limited to written and video gratitude pieces.

Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
  • One to three years' or relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiply projects with similar deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of TEAMS, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Canva.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Affinquest/Fundraising software.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of online reporting software.
  • WordPress/web design software.

Salary Grade 19 (Min. $50,917/Mid. $66,192/Max. $81,467)
Salary InformationEmployees are normally hired between the minimum and the midpoint of a position's grade range to which a position has been assigned, depending on experience and qualifications.
