We are the team behind Rib and Chop House; we have 14 restaurants in 7 states. Our Human Resources department ensures team members are well-supported and our operations run smoothly. We're looking for a part-time HR Assistant who is ready to learn how HR supports and integrates in a business and to help us continue to excel! Prior experience is not necessary.Some of What You'll Do:
  • Unemployment Claims: Process and track unemployment claims with precision and timeliness.
  • Workers' Compensation: Administer workers' compensation claims, including paperwork, documentation, and coordination with insurance brokers and employees.
  • Wage Garnishments: Handle wage garnishment orders, ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll processing.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Benefits Administration: Run monthly eligibility reports, communicate with employees about their eligibility, and update payroll and brokers.
  • Recruiting Support: Assist with application/resume review, scheduling interviews, filing applications and interview notes, and supporting HR, Training, or Culture projects.
