Not availablePosition OverviewA healthcare facility is seeking a qualified Mammography Technologist to join their imaging team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, patient-centered care, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role is part of a larger imaging department and involves close collaboration with radiologists, nurses, and administrative staff.Minimum QualificationsEducation:Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic TechnologyGraduate of an approved program in Mammography TechnologyLicenses/Certifications Required:Certified in Basic or Advanced Life SupportCurrent or temporary license by the applicable state medical board for Radiologic TechnologistsRegistered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M)Skills and Experience:Ability to lift and maneuver patients in a safe manner as requiredStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environmentDemonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and safety standardsPrevious experience in mammography is preferredKey ResponsibilitiesPerform mammographic imaging exams while ensuring adherence to all radiation safety protocolsPrepare patients for procedures, explain processes clearly, and position them appropriatelyOperate imaging equipment and ensure technical image qualityPerform quality control and routine maintenance on imaging equipmentDocument patient information and maintain accurate recordsParticipate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and accreditation processesTake emergency or after-hours call if required by the departmentUphold internal policies related to safety, productivity, and service qualityParticipate in professional development and mentoring activitiesAdditional duties as assigned by department leadershipPreferred QualificationsPrevious work experience in a mammography settingFamiliarity with accreditation standards and imaging quality metricsOrganizational Culture & BenefitsThis position is part of a health system known for its commitment to personalized, compassionate care.
