The below job opportunity is to one of Our clients who is the world's largest intimates specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.Job Title: Product Development CoordinatorLocation: Manhattan NY 10038Duration: 3 MonthsJob Type: Temporary AssignmentWork Type: OnsiteJOB DESCRIPTIONRESPONSIBILITIES:Product & Fragrance DevelopmentPartner with manager on the development of product and fragrances; help brainstorm new ideasOwnership over low complexity programs including timeline management and execution with vendorsOwns communication on programs with fragrance houses and contract manufacturersDistribute samples to team and brand for evaluationManage, organize and maintain the product closets and librariesResponsible for following up with vendorsManage the execution and processing of systems workflowAssist and support set-up for evaluation meetings and presentationsProvide sampling support for consumer testingJoin teams to support on-site development (i.e contract fillers, fragrance houses)Track base & fragrance submissions; participate with team in submission evaluationLearn fundamentals of product and fragrance developmentResearch market trends for fragrance and pattern for innovative formsCategory & Market Expertise (Including: Internal, External, Libraries, Other)Data entry and maintenance of competitive information, inclusive of databases, library, and reportingPurchase competitive products as directedDevelop exposure and awareness to brand and relevant competitive store environmentsData Management/ReportingUpdate reports and systems accuratelyGain exposure to the fragrance house and vendor brief processBegin to build understanding of end-to-end work flow process and development milestonesCross Functional Support/Relationship BuildingBuild cross functional relationships with internal peers both across Mast Global and with the brandInitiate and maintain professional relationships with external vendorsTalent Management/DevelopmentIdentify continuous learning opportunities for own developmentIntroduction to product and fragrance functional fundamentals, including vocabularTekWissen Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
