Our Level 1, acute care psychiatric facility located in Tempe is licensed to treat adults and adolescents for a wide range of psychiatric conditions and chemical dependency. Our team is dedicated to the wellness of individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention, and treatment.The experienced part-time Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN in inpatient care. Under the supervision of the RN, the BHT will help patients with their activities of daily living. The BHT is also an active participant in daily shift rounds and the treatment plan process, and will assist in creating and maintaining a therapeutic environment. The BHT will gather information and provide crisis intervention to support the RN in implementing the patient's treatment and care plan. The BHT will conduct activities/groups as assigned by the Charge Nurse/Therapist to support treatment goals and objectives. The BHT will ensure a safe environment.All part-time BHT duties will be performed in accordance with the established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the hospital, as well as those of state and regulatory agencies.We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
