Apply now to get started.GENERAL SUMMARY:The Total Rewards Director provides strategic design, direction, execution, and ongoing management of Bryan Health's total rewards programs. This role ensures that programs meet employee needs, are aligned with organizational objectives, benefit and compensation strategies, and operations are compliant with federal/state laws and regulations. Scope of responsibility includes benefits, compensation and human resource information systems (HRIS). This position plays a key role in positioning Bryan Health as an employer of choice in our region.PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
  • *Develops and maintains appropriate human resource policies and procedures.
  • *Directs the implementation and execution of day-to-day administrative oversight of all employee benefit products.
  • *Directly supports the preparation and execution of benefits documentation, such as plan documents, summary plan descriptions, summary material modifications. Ensures legal consultation and review, when appropriate.
  • *Directs and develops strategies to drive employee awareness and understanding of all compensation and benefit programs.
  • *Leads Bryan Health through regular benchmarking cycles using best practices to analyze and assess market data, and industry trends to maintain a competitive reward package.
  • *Ensures that the HRIS software system meets reporting, benefits and compensation needs by serving as a functional and technical lead for HRIS, involving compensation and benefits. Oversees the daily operation, providing guidance and end-user support for system functionality.
  • *Reviews and maintains audit reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • *Ensures compliance of benefits programs, utilizing knowledge of benefits legislation (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, other) and through keeping current on rules and regulations impacting benefits programs. Ensuring highly confidential files are maintained in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulation.
  • *Provides metrics on benefits use and wellness programs to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Provides regular and ad hoc reports upon request.
  • *Acts as fiduciary secretary for retirement plan portfolio.
  • *Utilize data and conduct research to identify trends and recommend new plans/programs to attract, engage and retain employees.
  • *Develops, implements and maintains a comprehensive wage administration program, which supports recruitment and retention of highly qualified employees.
  • *Develops, maintains and administers the reward system associated with the performance evaluation program.
  • *Ensures all vendors meet service expectations.
  • *Completes budget process within identified timeframe and format specified; monitors budget compliance and justifies variances.
  • *Provides leadership and oversight to the compensation, benefits and HRIS teams.
  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

  • Expertise in the design, development, implementation and administration of benefits programs.

  • Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administrations or related field required. Masters degree strongly preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in human resource management required including direct responsibility for the functional responsibilities of this role.
