Client: International Apparel Retailer
Role: Interim Senior Accounting Manager
Pay Rate: $70-75/hrDuration: 3+ Months
Location: Downtown Manhattan (2 days a week in office)Job Description:
  • Oversee and manage a team of four accountants, which includes a staff accountant, 2 senior accountants, and an accounting manager.
  • Oversight of various Stores & Wholesale processes, which includes lease accounting (ASC 842), Credit Card Reconciliations, Wholesale Accounting, including revenue recognition principles, Stores Returns Reserve process, Freight Invoice reconciliation process and freight capitalization, and various Inventory processes.
  • Review & approve the reporting team members responsible areas, such as schedules and journal entries.
  • Support management to ensure the team is functioning as expected.
  • Liaison with various departments to ensure accurate recording of actual results and preparation of reliable forecasts.
