This is a temporary position, lasting approximately 6 months. No benefits will be provided.We are seeking detail oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Production Operator. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring equipment in operation buildings, weighing and sampling material, shoveling blend material, the use of respirator, packaging, drying and the transportation of material.Physical Demands include: Working regularly with lightweight to average weight material. Handling up to sixty (60) pounds, maneuvering drums and climbing multiple levels of stairs.Mental and/or Visual Demands: Frequent mental and visual attention, where the flow of work is intermittent or the operation involves waiting for a machine or process to complete and cycle, process checking.WORKING CONDITIONS: Somewhat disagreeable working conditions, exposed to seasonal conditions, coveralls, safety shoes, plus other PPE required in areas. 12 hour rotating shifts.The Holston Army Ammunition Plant is a Tobacco Free Facility.BAE Systems helps protect those who protect us.
