- Must adhere to Company rules and follow the GMP signs and maintain good personal hygiene.
- Must adhere to all Food Safety and SQF rules and regulations.
- Must learn to operate all packaging equipment and successfully assure all finished product is meeting product specifications.
- Must be willing to learn and complete all job specific paperwork on a daily basis.
- Must be able to communicate with and assist all fellow employees dealing with production and maintenance problems.
- Work in a team environment and communicate well with fellow employees
- Maintain open communication between Production Manager, Shift Supervisor, Lead Operator and Lab
- Able and willing to perform tasks at all levels (from sweeping floors to operating the production equipment).
- Willingness to assist with work assignments in other production areas on a daily basis. These assignments will be filling in for fellow employees during breaks, lunches, production, and maintenance times.
- Assist in all aspects of clean up at the end of each production run.
- To do your part to insure the production of an excellent grade of food product in a safe environment.
- May require working on a Saturday and/or Sunday to accommodate customer needs.
- Learn and work in a team environment and communicate well with fellow employees.
- Bag, stack and pick orders
- Peel and pick out off grade product.
- Operate forklift.
- Hand peel whole potatoes.
- Complete any job specific paper work such as noting start and end times of pallets.
- Check product temperature, metal detector and bag weights as needed.
- Clean and set up processing line.
- Operate forklift.
- Scrape bad product off drum and other duties to ensure we are making good product.
- Bag and stack finished product.
- Complete all job specific paper work.
- Sweep and clean up during shift.
- Run re-blend in designated area.
- Operate forklift.
- Pick out off grade product.
- Assemble empty bins to pack product.
- Pack bins of 3# , 5# , 8# and 10# bags.
- Check weigh any rejected product and adjust as needed to ensure correct weight.
- Monitor Volm Baler make sure product is sewn and filled properly.
- Clean up any potatoes on the floor and put in designated collection bins.
- Clean off all equipment and floors, as needed, throughout the day and at the end of shift
- Computer literate.

- Proper Footwear
