Murdock Ford is looking for an entry-level Automotive Service Technician! We are a family-owned dealership that has been in business for over 100 years. We recently moved into our new, state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility, and we are looking for a C-Level Service Technician to join our growing team!The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Service Technician. Ford certification is a plus, but not required.Daily responsibilities include performing work as outlined on repair orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.Benefits:

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and general service tasks.
  • Complete minor repairs and adjustments based on work orders and company standards.
  • Conduct brake services, wheel alignments, and other light mechanical work.
  • Move vehicles into service bays, perform digital inspections, and test drive to ensure service quality.
  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or certification from an accredited technical school.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Utah county emissions certification
  • Minimum of 6 months of hands-on automotive repair experience or completion of an automotive training program.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle systems, tools, and procedures needed for routine maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Ability to operate repair tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and being part of a team-oriented service environment.
