- Assist Director with the orientation, training, and development of housekeeping, floor tech, and laundry staff to maintain skills, competency of these positions.
- Assist in the Directors absence, and reassignment of staff as needed. Provide coaching, and supervision staff. Report identified performance and or disciplinary matters to the Director to handle. Provide input into employee performance evaluations. Assisting Director with ordering and assessing departmental needs.
- Assist in oversight of all campus facilities including common areas, resident living areas, and staff offices and flooring to ensure they are cleaned according to department standards. Assist in the quality assurance as directed by the Director. Cover staff vacancies when necessary.
- Ensure rooms or apartments are prepared for occupancy in a timely manner for new residents and room changes.
- Auditing of resident rooms/apartments on a weekly basis. Assisting Director with ordering and assessing departmental needs.
- Assist in ensuring adequate inventory of clean linen is maintained for each facility and that applicable resident clothing is cleaned and returned in a timely manner in the absence of staff.
- Perform all tasks to assure resident and personal safety and the protection of Three Pillars property.
- Able to lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds frequently.
- Able to push or pull carts weighing up to 60 pounds frequently.
- Bend, reach and stand most of the day.
- Able to read product labels and follow the directions.
- Read and speak English.
- Handle hostile or emotionally upset residents, staff, family members, etc.
- Able to work with limited supervision.
- Healthcare housekeeping/laundry experience preferred.
