Reporting to the Technical Writing Manager in our Product department, you'll collaborate closely with R&D, QA, and Product Managers. Your primary focus will be documenting our customer-facing APIs and SDKs and delving deep into our technical system and deployment documentation. We need someone adept at transforming highly complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly resources for technical and non-technical customers.BigID thrives in a fast-paced Agile environment.   • Document our customer-facing APIs.
  • Manage the API portal, including its automated Git-based systems and processes.
  • Develop high-profile, challenging, and complex system and deployment documentation.
  • Contribute significantly to enhancing our product and overall customer experience.
What you'll bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience writing API and DevOps-related documentation.
  • Strong aptitude for translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in core web technologies such as HTML, JSON, and YAML.
  • Demonstrated experience with version control systems like GitLab, GitHub, or BitBucket.
  • Familiarity with the concepts of containerized systems, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong team spirit and a cooperative approach.
Nice to haves:
  • Experience with Document360.
  • Background or experience in the data or cybersecurity domains.
