Regional Director of Hotel Operations – Structure Hospitality This role is based in Salt Lake City, UT, and requires frequent travel. We will also consider candidates located in the Southwest or Mountain States near a major metropolitan airport. Structure Hospitality manages hotels with discipline, clarity, and a focus on results. We are hiring a Regional Director of Hotel Operations to oversee a portfolio of hotels and work directly with our Vice President of Operations. This role reports to and partners with the VP of Operations to drive operational and financial performance, support on-property teams, and ensure accountability across the organization. Compensation for this role includes a base salary of $80,000–$100,000 plus a quarterly performance-based bonus. Responsibilities: Responsibilities – Regional Director of Operations • Partner with the VP of Operations to oversee a portfolio of hotels and ensure consistent financial and operational performance • Provide leadership and support to General Managers, holding them accountable for results and operational execution • Step in during GM transitions to maintain stability and continuity at the property level • Conduct regular property visits to evaluate brand standards, service delivery, staffing, and guest experience • Review property-level financials, budgets, and forecasts to identify gaps and implement corrective strategies • Drive the adoption of revenue management, forecasting, and budgeting processes in coordination with hotel teams • Ensure compliance with franchise systems, brand standards, and ownership expectations • Build and develop strong on-property leadership teams, setting clear expectations and providing direct support where needed • Maintain consistent communication with GMs and owners on property performance, challenges, and opportunities • Travel regularly throughout the assigned portfolio to provide hands-on leadership and visibility Qualifications: Qualifications – Regional Director of Operations • 3–5 years of progressive hotel operations experience, including time as a successful General Manager in the upper midscale segment • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience • Prior multi-property or regional oversight experience strongly preferred • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, gain respect of property-level leadership, and hold teams accountable • Strong understanding of hotel financials, budgeting, forecasting, and operational KPIs • Familiarity with franchise systems, brand standards, and key operational tools • Hands-on operator comfortable making property-level decisions when needed • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with owners and executives • Must be comfortable with frequent travel and based in Salt Lake City or centrally located in the Southwest/Mountain States near a major metropolitan airport About Company: Structure Hospitality is growing.
