Job DescriptionTeam Size:The maintenance Team has 4-5 supervisors and 30-50 in total including hourly workers.Reports to:Maintenance ManagerMechanical Project LeadThis role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage multiple large mechanical projects from planning through execution in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Mechanical Project Leader will support troubleshooting efforts, lead projects, manage vendor engagement, and ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and contractors, maintaining predictive maintenance plans in SAP, and upholding high standards in safety, quality, and reliability. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, must have project experience working on heavy equipment and excels in project planning, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.As the Mechanical Project Leader, you’ll manage an average of 3–4 mechanical projects at once, operating as a hands-on individual contributor. You’ll be the go-to expert for driving project execution—creating work orders, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring smooth, on-time delivery of high-impact initiatives. While experience with Microsoft Project is a plus, proficiency in SAP is absolutely essential.
