- A minimum of one year of recent, continuous experience in a relevant healthcare setting, excluding internships. All clinical skills must be up-to-date.
- For those interested in specialty areas such as Emergency, Inpatient Care, or Obstetrics, at least one year of specialized experience is required, along with any necessary certifications.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills, is essential for effective interaction within the Corrections Facility. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate both oral and written instructions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive nursing care plans, administer medications and treatments, and support disease prevention efforts under physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, assist in medical procedures, and contribute to treatment planning and evaluation.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor progress, and ensure the documentation of all care activities and patient education in medical records.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, uphold patient privacy, and foster a culture of safety and quality.
- Uphold professional relationships within the administrative team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of patient care, including progress notes and discharge summaries, adhering to the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining IV access, monitoring vital signs, and managing patient responses to treatment.
- Engage in continuous learning and attend all relevant meetings to stay informed of clinic policies and healthcare advancements.
