Together we are the best place to get care and the best place to give care.What you will doProvide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients.· Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.· Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.· Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.· Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.· Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.· Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.· Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.Qualifications· CPS/BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program or Prevea sponsored program. Upon Hire RequiredMedical Assistant· Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.· Certified as a Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.Licensed Practical Nurse· Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.· Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.Emergency Medical Technician· Graduation from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician program.· Licensed EMT or AEMT and maintain this credential throughout employmentIf holds other licenses that supersede CMA/RMA license may practice to the highest level of licensure with the approval of Quality Resources.Experience Qualifications· Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician PreferredPrevea is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
