- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Application Migration Coordinator to manage and lead migration calls for critical applications transitioning from Data Center 1 (DC1) to Data Center 2 (DC2).
- This individual will act as the single point of contact during the migration window, ensuring smooth coordination between application, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Host and manage migration bridge calls during the application move from DC1 to DC2.
- Coordinate with application owners, infra teams (network, compute, storage), security, and business stakeholders.
- Track migration schedule, pre-checks, cutover tasks, and post-migration validations.
- Maintain real-time status updates and communicate any delays, risks, or escalations.
- Ensure runbooks and rollback plans are reviewed and followed.
- Document migration outcomes and lessons learned post-event.
- Align with change management policies and ensure all necessary approvals are in place.
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of application hosting environments, data center infrastructure, and cutover processes.
- Prior experience managing technical bridge calls or IT migration events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in engaging cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in using collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- ITIL or PMP certification.
- Experience in large-scale data center migrations or cloud transitions.
- Familiarity with DR/BCP processes.
