
Accounting Administrator

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all opportunities and jobs in process for assigned branches
- Assist Sales Reps with Bidsheet completion if requested
- Gather credit information prior to credit approval
- Review and approve each deal package (lease or sale)
- Purchase buildings according to company policy
- Complete all billings required by assigned branches
- Obtain Certificate of Insurance from customers and vendors
- UCC Filings
- Review all project invoices in relation to the Budget vs Actual report for accurate allocation
- Work with branch team members to resolve any errors or omissions in the deal process
- Interface with Accounting Dept. to ensure that needed reclassifications in the G/L and Job journals are completed
- Tracks and process lease renewals and returns
- Prepare and distribute monthly reporting as required (i.e. GL analysis)
- Assist in Accounts Receivable collections
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an AR/AP, invoicing, accounting administration, contract administration or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience with contracts and projects administration would be an asset
- Previous experience in the modular industry or similar
- Salesforce experience is an asset
- Must be friendly, personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with clients and co-workers
- Knowledgeable and proficient computer skills with practical experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in business administration or equivalent would be an asset
- Must have strong attention to detail, adaptability, and be very organized
- Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Must be fluent in English both oral and written
