CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Portfolio Architect with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative 2.1 (ITI2.1) team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of Agile Development practices and experience delivering releasable software.The Portfolio Architect oversees the O&M and new development of a portfolio of applications in an Agile environment to improve performance and availability of critical applications and timely resolution of issues and outages. You will interact with product development teams, network services, cybersecurity, and customer service teams to coordinate operations and maintenance of deployed systems.What you’ll get to do:Support critical end user applications and work in a highly Agile environment as both a mentor and technology leaderOversee daily infrastructure, systems, services, & external interfaces production ops supportSupport internal IT, Product, and Shared Services teams with operational support issuesPrimary interconnection between Product Teams and ITI2.1 Operations Shared ServicesServe as Portfolio POC for ITI2.1 Contractor facilitiesPerform and monitor system health checksMonitor services, jobs and interfaces for failures, irregularities, and performance issuesMonitor availability, data replication, exports, data synchronization, and scheduled jobsSupport critical processes outside of normal hours to include nights, weekends and holidaysWork with the Release Managers, Product Teams, and Production teams to support Product releases into the fieldWork with ITI2.1 Product Teams, Operations Managers, and Cybersecurity to develop SOPs and processes for incident management and resolutionLead rapid response to quickly resolve issues and outagesEngage in incident support for end users as needed across portfolio of systemsChampion special projects and technical upgradesMonitor Tier 2 and 3 support ticket queues to promote rapid response by all portfolio teamsReport metrics, assess system data, analyze error logs, & capture user reportsResponsible for operations support metrics and Portfolio service desk ticket queuesInteract with Portfolio Owner, Service Delivery Manager and Hosting Facility POCsYou have:Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to:3-year check for felony convictions1-year check for illegal drug use1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraudMinimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 10 years of Information Technology (IT) experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with supporting 6-8 production deployed applicationsMust be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VAYou are good at:Managing work with Jira products in the context of software development and reporting across multiple teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding traditional software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release managementExperience with a variety of technology stacks and platforms (.NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, PostGres, NoSQL)Experience with configuration and operation of monitoring tools such as Splunk Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approachUnderstanding of all elements of the software development life cycleHighly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starterBonus would be having:Experience managing operations in an Agile environmentExperience with SecDevOps processes and/or toolsCurrent and relevant experience with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) applications.Acts independently to expose and resolve problemsHighly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter-What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
