- The selected candidate will provide modeling, simulation, integration, development, execution, test and analyses expertise to support Integrated Fires (IF) M&S across multiple PEO Missile & Space program offices including those for C2, sensors, launchers and interceptors.
- This will include developing M&S strategies and roadmaps, costing IF M&S efforts, advising program leadership on M&S, and developing solutions that span program offices.
- It may also include leading future efforts to integrate defensive and offensive fires M&S and joint M&S programs with other DoD organizations such as MDA, Navy, Air Force and Marines.
- The selected candidate will provide technical support for IF including but not limited to Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD)/IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS), Counter Rocket, Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM), CUAS, Guam Defense System (GDS), other Army center M&S tools and new and existing sensors and effectors. Common tasks for this position include systems requirements generation, planning, development and integration of M&S tools to support trade studies, performance assessments, gap identification and M&S strategy formulation.
- The selected candidate will provide technical leadership in a highly dynamic environment that promotes team interaction, collaboration, and the development of creative solutions to challenging problems. The chosen candidate will also interact with external customers and stakeholders within the Army AMD labs, program offices, and development prime contractors.
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience with C2, sensor and/or effector system-level data analysis or planning OR a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science from an accredited institution with 14 years of experience.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in team environments.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior staff.
- Proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse set of customers, collaborators, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- M&S and/or software roadmap development.
- PEO MS component sensor or weapon systems (and/or associated M&S representations).
- Leading integrated fires analyses, systems engineering, or test and evaluation.
- C2, sensor or effector HWIL systems.
- Other AMD areas such as threat/targets, IBCS, analysis and simulation frameworks.
- Candidate must currently possess a DoD SECRET clearance.
