Program Manager - Contingent on Contract AwardJOB DESCRIPTIONKegman Inc. is a Woman-owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in Melbourne FL, and provides engineering and technical support services to U.S. Government clients. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager that will lead and oversee projects for a unique mission for our government customer and lead the design and development for a variety of Research and Development projects, from a cost, schedule, and performance standpoint. This position is contingent on contract award.NOTE: This is not a remote/telework job. This job requires the selected applicant to have an active U.S. Government-issued security clearance at time of hire and, therefore, requires U.S. citizenship.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Document all cost, schedule, and performance for R&D projects to move technologies through technology readiness levels (TRLs) from initiation to transition.
  • Coordinate on the authorship of R&D strategic planning documents to close capability gaps and drive coordination and collaboration
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in meetings, working groups, and integrated product teams related to R&D projects.
  • Coordinate and regularly interact with the dedicated program manager from AFTAC’s Systems Development Directorate
  • Review and approve final contract documents and deliverables for completeness and conformity to requirements.
  • Prepare/present materials for internal and external program reviews, cost reviews, risk review, and other meetings and briefings as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Successful track record of managing projects and meeting project objectives including deliverables, cost, schedule and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with requirements management and operations related activities and processes.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
  • Proficiency using Project Management tracking tools (MS Project, Jira/Confluence, etc).
  • Experience working within a government Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
  • Experience with Agile Framework
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Experience working on/with Government contracts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal and written/oral communications.
  • Detail-oriented team leader who can consistently meet deadlines and is able to work independently as needed.
  • Work independently to generate programmatic courses of action, briefings, notes, and other required documentation while facilitating collaboration and coordination to generate buy-in and team approach
  • Able to multi-task and work with a diverse work group of vendors, executive managers, subcontractors, consultants, and other professionals.
EDUCATION-EXPERIENCE
  • A bachelor’s degree or associate degree with strong PM background
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
OTHER:
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must have a fully adjudicated (not an interim) U.S. Government-issued security clearance at time of hire.
