Quality Manager

• Ensure products and services meet customer expectations and comply with standards and specifications.
• Initiate and direct training shop processes, process specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform incoming inspection for inventory items.
• Perform in process inspection on manufacturing items.
• Assist in the creation of First Article Inspections.
• Conduct and participate in all internal and external audits.
• Maintain calibration records for all calibrated equipment.
• Develop and submit to management Risk Management programs.
• Maintain and update company capabilities list.
• Ensure all documentation is up to date for manufacturing.
• Maintain training records.
• Create Warranty Letters for quotes.
• Maintain all certifications – FAA, EASA, AS9100, ASQR, etc.
• Direct and participate in all audits related to the above certifications.
• Manage shop safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

• ISO 9001 experience along with the ability to maintain an ISO system. (AS9100 experience is preferred but not required).
• The ability to lead system audits from outside auditing agencies and audit vendors.
• Experience managing all aspects in relation to quality in an assembly and manufacturing company
• Have an in-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
• A results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and strong leadership skills.
• Plastic manufacturing experience is a plus, not required.
