Learn more at www. .The Director, Senior Litigation Counsel reports to the Assistant General Counsel, Litigation and Ethics & Compliance and is a key member of H.B. Fuller’s dynamic global legal team. This role partners closely with internal business stakeholders and outside counsel to oversee a wide range of disputes and investigations, ensuring strategic alignment and risk mitigation across the organization.Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee global litigation, including mass torts, product liability, commercial disputes, and EHS matters
  • Develop and implement litigation and/or settlement strategies, including outside counsel selection and budget management
  • Lead privileged internal investigations and liaise with law enforcement as appropriate
  • Oversee discovery processes, including interviews, witness preparation, and coordination with internal teams
  • Train legal and business colleagues on claims management best practices
  • Supervise and mentor litigation paralegals
  • Standardize litigation processes including legal hold, eDiscovery, and matter management
  • Provide strategic recommendations to evolve the litigation and investigations program
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business goals and legal compliance
  • Prepare executive-level reports and updates on litigation matters
Minimum Requirements
  • Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Licensed to practice law in Minnesota (or eligible to waive in)
  • Minimum 10 years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Experience managing internal and/or government investigations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in key competencies: innovation, accountability, performance excellence, change and risk-taking, customer focus, and teamwork
  • Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience managing and developing legal teams
  • Proven success managing outside counsel and litigation budgets
  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery workflows and service provider management
  • Experience recovering insurance for claims and litigation
  • Ability to advise business partners on legal strategies aligned with business needs
  • Strategic thinker with ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex legal topics
  • Collaborative team player with a client-focused mindset
#LI-MM1Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.The salary for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. This position is also eligible for Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) and Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) participation.In addition to your salary, H.B.
