- Leads Finance projects and team assignments for general accounting and financial analysis activities at the Plant level.
- Leads cost accounting process and prepare, review and maintain capital expenditure requests.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements/documents and annual budget preparation. Also assist with financial bridge process and variance analysis.
- Collects and analyzes consolidated and/or Plant specific, product and process results and statistics.
- Accountable for leading special project.
- Works with the Plants and Corporate Operations Finance Teams with systems, process improvements, and implementation of changes.
- Support Plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality registration (ex. TS 16949, ISO 14001, Pentastar, etc.).
- Assist with Corporate activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
- Responsible for adhering to all internal and OSHA required safety procedures in performing daily work activities.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the office.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
- Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
- Assists with the creation of acceptable standards in Finance.
- This role is a part of our Plant Operations Finance Team and reports to the Plant Controller.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 3+ years’ experience in related financial, operational or business analysis.
- Expertise utilizing standardized cost accounting, general ledger, integration of financial and manufacturing systems; budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of financial and performance data.
- Knowledge of QAD and One Stream is a plus. (or similar integrated manufacturing system).
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software with advanced MS Excel.
