Performs routine and extensive grounds-keeping maintenance and building maintenance duties on all property buildings and facilities.What we offerWeekly payDirect deposit & debit card payment optionsHealth, vision, dental, life, and disability insuranceGet weekends offOvertime availableTraining providedBackground friendlyWeekly PayBuilding & Grounds Maintenance Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)Makes repairs to any building fixture (walls, floors, doors, etc.)Repair damaged walls, floors, and ceilings.Prepare and paint walls and ceilings.Completes building electrical work (i.e., new outlets, lights, minor repairs).Unclog toilets and urinals; replace toilet and urinal components.Repair plumbing leaks of all types (air, gas, water, etc.)Repair doors and windows as required.Makes improvement to building by making minor repairs and remodeling (i.e., painting, laying tile, etc.)Makes repairs to restrooms, water fountains, and other necessary utilities for the building.May perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.May perform routine laboring and maintenance duties when grounds keeping work has been completed.Follow (LO/TO) all Safety procedures and Company Safety Policy.Complete tasks indicated on work orders, inspections and A.I.B. checklists as directed by supervisor.Keeps work area clean. Perform cleaning of area assigned.Assist in the training of new personnel.Follows Company, GMP and Safety policies to ensure compliance with the HACCP program and AIB gold standard.Follows all food safety principles and legal requirementsMaintains a positive and constructive work environment within the department as well as with other departments and promotes teamwork.Works in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.Participates in monthly departmental meetings.Building & Grounds Maintenance Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)Freon handling certificateSuccessful completion continuing education toward licensee/certification in HVAC tradeFamiliar with GMP's and AIB standards.Good Communication SkillsAble to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.Bilingual(Spanish / English) preferredApply today, Building & Grounds Maintenance Are you looking for a company that is hiring immediately? near Irving, TX, 75062About Ascend StaffingAscend Staffing has been connecting great people with real opportunities for over 50 years.
