Mobile, ALOrder: 26840Order Type : DirectHireRegional and highly reputable law firm seeking a motivated and organized legal secretary with insurance defense experience to support its Mobile office. As a legal secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to 2-3 attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the legal office. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in this role.Responsibilities:1. Ensure attorney time sheets are entered into time and billing system2. Maintain electronic files3. Prepare legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, drafts, and other legal documents from written and oral drafts or dictation4. Prepare court electronic filing5. Maintain high level of professionalism, communication, grammar, and spelling6. Draft complaints and answers, routine notices, affidavits, motions and petitions, contracts, and closing documents7. Establish, organize and maintain attorney trial notebooks, expert witness notebooks, document indexes, reports and lists8. Maintain calendar and deadline reminder system9. Conduct periodic review of files10. Receive clients and visitors maintaining good public relationsRequirements:3+ years' experience in Insurance Defense law
