- Administers the benefits offerings for the entire organization.
- Assists with the Open Enrollment process through working alongside internal teams/stakeholders as well as external vendors to successfully orchestrate the process from beginning to end.
- Leads the administration for employee leave programs.
- Support compensation and benefits analysis, including salary benchmarking and pay equity studies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefit policies, escalating as appropriate.
- Conducts compensation benchmarking and market pricing using survey data to evaluate internal and external competitiveness.
- Evaluating and implementing job analysis tools, techniques, and materials.
- Works alongside our vendors to answer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests from internal stakeholders.
- Creates communications and trainings on total rewards programs to enhance employee understanding and engagement. (new hire orientation, email campaigns, webinars, benefit fairs, etc.).
- Administers our benefits programming through data entry and analysis, auditing feeds from our HRIS/HCM, system alignment, and ensuring the technology is compliant with our programs. Resolves any discrepancies between systems and works with internal teams to find efficiencies within our platforms.
- Researches benefits trends and makes recommendations for improvement to our current offerings.
- Leads analytics for the Benefits programs and models changes to programming, cost modeling, and usage to report to leadership.
- Supports HR initiatives, projects, and processes for the organization when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of three years of experience administering Benefits, Retirement, Leave programs, and compensation analysis for a medium/large organization
- Experience with California and New York state leave and benefit administration preferred
- Working knowledge of Total Rewards federal, state, and local legislation.
- Working knowledge of Total Rewards (benefits, compensation, and wellness) programming best practices.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to utilize HRIS/HCM systems for data entry and complex reporting and analysis.
- Skilled in communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in attention to detail and accuracy within data analytics.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion in complex HR matters.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others both internally & externally.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results of a high standard.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide effective consult and employee support during all interactions.
- Ability to support others on the team and train on company policies and practices as well as TR fundamentals.
