What you’ll do as a Directional Drill Operator / Locator
Safely operate drill equipment on jobsite which may include but not limited to the following: Direction Drill, Backhoe/Excavator, Skid Steer, Tracctor Trailer (Moving Equipment/Haul Water), Vacuum Truck/Trailer, Locator
Restore and /or landscape disturbed areas of the jobsite
Develop and maintain a bore schedule
Site set-up and clean-up
Load and unload tools, materials and equipment on truck
Job Safety Analysis - JSA prior to starting construction
Set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers and at times flagging traffic
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Must possess a valid drivers license - Class A CDL - Tanker endorsements strongly preferred
Must be experienced with Directional Drill equipment and understand their capabilities and limitations
Must be safety conscious
Must be able to effectively communicate with crew, customers and vendors
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions
Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: lift 50lbs and work in all weather conditions.
Occasionally: lift 75lbs as needed with or without assistance
