- The Bus Driver reports to the Security & Transportation Manager and is an hourly, non-exempt position.
- The Bus Driver responsible for supplying transportation services to students and performing general maintenance duties throughout the center.
- The Bus Driver transports students by bus and automobile to various vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, courts, etc.
- Inspects and reports on the mechanical condition of vehicles.
- Maintains accurate and complete trip reports of each use of any vehicle.
- When not performing the duties of the Shuttle Bus Driver will perform alarm and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, vandalism, fire, flood, or similar disaster, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Valid State driver’s license and Commercial Driver’s License in the state of employment with Passenger endorsement and an acceptable driving record.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
