Apply today to enjoy these benefits and more!Position SummaryProcess SBA loans from the time the loan is approved by our bank throughout closing and funding all of the loan proceeds.Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Review loan requests to ensure accurate documentation/information is obtained in order to proceed with request.
  • Understand and recognize when exceptions to bank policy and procedures are present.
  • Order all OFAC, CAIVRS, etc. as required.
  • Review and approve all title commitments, surveys, insurance, fuel supply agreements, UCC searches for lien position, and any other third-party documents as needed.
  • Prepare SBA packaging forms.
  • Obtain INS verifications if needed.
  • Order and review all 4506 transcripts.
  • Create loan file which will contain all documentation.
  • Interact with customers, attorneys, title companies, lenders and their assistants, etc. to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Review and approve all required documentation received, i.e. purchase agreements, corporate documents, lease agreements, landlord subordinations, construction documentation, vehicle titles, etc. as required for the loan.
  • Submit loan to SBA/USDA for approval
  • Prepare SBA Loan Authorization for any SBA PLP loans.
  • Update Etran with any changes to the loan after it is approved by SBA.
  • Request for approval of any changes to the credit approval, if needed.
  • Engage the attorney and keep them informed of any changes to the credit approval.
  • Ensure all loans are closed and funded according to the approved loan request, bank policy, regulatory guidelines and SBA/USDA policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the SBA loan servicing department for the loan funding and booking.
  • Finalize loan file for post close audit.
  • Adhere to BSA/AML policy and all other bank policies.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience training in banking environment OR banking related industry experience required; experience with Commercial documentation required; SBA experience is preferred.
  • Loan quality assurance or loan secretary experience preferred.
  • Great customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Good computer and proof-reading skills required.
  • Knowledge of Etran and/or PCFS (loan manager) preferred.
  • Must have Word and Excel knowledge.
