PAY RATE: Up to $51/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shiftsIndustry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Design and implement robotic automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiencyProgram and integrate Fanuc and Epson robots with PLCs and existing production systemsTroubleshoot, optimize, and maintain automated systems for maximum uptime and throughputCollaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and automation opportunitiesCreate and maintain technical documentation for robotic systemsSupport machine tending operations and automation of manual stationsDrive lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices across automation effortsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field5+ years of experience in robotics or automation, preferably in high-volume, low-mix manufacturing4–6 years of hands-on experience with:PLC programming and controls integrationIndustrial robotics (Fanuc and Epson highly preferred)Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologiesProven ability to drive efficiency, uptime, and productivity improvementsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skillsSix Sigma (Green Belt or higher)Lean ManufacturingStatistical Process Control (SPC)Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
