Job Description: Quality TechnicianWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree, though this is preferred and not mandatory, and 0-3+ years of experience in a regulated industry such as medical, aerospace, or automotive. The role primarily involves reviewing product non-conformances and completing quality documentation related to part defects and inspection plans.Responsibilities
  • Review product non-conformances and complete quality documentation.
  • Understand technical drawings, dimensions, and required specifications.
  • Utilize inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Communicate with operators on the production floor regarding non-conforming materials.
  • Assist with supplier change request forms, FMEA, PPAPs, and other quality documentation.
  • Use Excel for data collection and analysis.
  • Split time between office work (50%) and production floor activities (50%).
Essential Skills
  • Experience in quality inspection and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and CAD.
  • Ability to handle non-conformances and conduct defect analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with PPAP and FMEA processes.
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical assembly environments.
