Duration: 6 monthsJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Consultant with deep domain knowledge in EPC and construction to support the implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions align with business goals and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to EPC and construction processes.
2. Translate business needs into functional specifications for project management & other Engineering systems.
3. Support the implementation and configuration of modules related to project planning, procurement, budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
4. Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements.
5. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
6. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for functional issues.
7. Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper integration and data flow between systems.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
9. Should be able to visit client site/port
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in a functional role within the EPC or construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of project lifecycle in EPC – from design and procurement to construction and commissioning.
4. Hands-on experience with EPC domain systems (e.g., ERP/JDE/Oracle products/Engineering products of Hexagon & Aveva etc.).
5. Familiarity with construction project controls, cost estimation, and scheduling.
6. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
7. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
