And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our .Job DescriptionThe Senior Third Party Operations Representative, will play a pivotal role in overseeing operational activities for third-party service centers and TPMs (Third-Party Manufacturers). The primary responsibilities include leading and executing on cost-saving initiatives, leading operations representative training programs, ensuring compliance, and standardizing operations across the third-party network. Serving as a peer leader to third-party operations representatives, you will provide guidance on best practices and influential strategies to enhance customer compliance at third-party sites. This role requires managing and consulting operations for 15-25 third-party-led sites, leading continuous improvement projects, and leveraging data and insights from audits to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.Third Party Oversight:
  • Oversee operational activities for third-party service centers and TPMs within designated territory.
  • Ensure adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures across the third-party network.
  • Manage and consult operations for 15-25 third-party-led sites, ensuring compliance and alignment with company objectives and contractual agreement.
  • Develop and foster a professional relationship and partnership with the Third Parties; Collaborate with site leaders to address operational challenges and implement improvements.
  • Work closely with Third Parties, Logistics and Planning to ensure proper receiving, sorting/repairing, and shipping of CHEP assets valuing between 3.8 - 9.5M, ensuring stability of territory.
  • Partner with Third Party and internal functions to ensure proper preventative maintenance program for equipment and building is in place and enforced.
Site Performance Evaluation & Cost Savings:
  • Leverage operational data and systems to evaluate site performance and health, identifying opportunities for Safety improvements and additional investments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Initiate and track initiatives for designated territories, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Utilize data to make informed decision around strategies for KPI improvements.
  • Identify cost-savings opportunities and identify action planning to meet annual cost-savings goals.
  • Utilize continuous improvement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Lead the execution of continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives across assigned territories.
  • Leverage systems data and insights from audits to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate Territory training on Continuous Improvement Programs
  • Assist Management with the development and initiation of action plans based on site audits and continuous improvement projects.
Negotiations:
  • Support Third Party Operations Manager (s) in negotiations around costs and volumes.
  • Provide insights and data to facilitate informed decision-making during negotiation processes.
Peer Leadership:
  • Serve as a peer leader to third-party operations representatives, providing guidance and support.
  • Share best practices and influential strategies to drive customer compliance and satisfaction.
  • Lead/Facilitate training to enhance skills and ensure compliance with company standards.
Standardization and Compliance:
  • Establish and maintain a culture of compliance and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Support Regional management with standardizing processes across the third-party network to ensure consistency and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality at third-party sites.

QualificationsEssential qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Management or similar is required.Six Sigma Green Belt / LeanExperience3-5 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience.Skills and Knowledge
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of an organization, both internal and external.
  • Must have demonstrated success of leading cross-functional project teams
  • Must have demonstrated success in negotiating skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and collaborate across remote teams
  • Must have experience of developing and successfully implementing continuous improvement and/or cost savings projects
