Desired Qualifications:
- CPA is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complicated federal laws and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills for negotiation with federal auditors and the ability to clearly define and support the State's position related to financial reviews and audits.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of the State's financial practices related to federal grants, including a thorough knowledge to allow the State to recover indirect costs from the federal government on behalf of all departments receiving federal funds.

A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university course work in any field equals one year of full-time experience in budget analysis, economic analysis, financial management, accounting, or management analysis work; and
b.
