Start your Voyage – Apply NowPosition Summary:An Insider threat is the potential for a member of an organization, such as an employee, contractor, vendor, custodian, etc., to use their authorized access or understanding of an organization to harm that organization. This harm can include intentional or unintentional acts that negatively affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization, its data, personnel, or facilities.Insider Threat Analysts are responsible for conducting technical analysis, providing assessments of potential threats, risk analysis, managing policy violations, among a variety of other duties related to these broad responsibilities. Insider Threat Analysts also work across multiple technical teams to implement and improve security controls.A Senior IT Security Specialist (Senior Insider Threat Analyst) is an expert in all conventional aspects of implementation, communication, monitoring, and maintenance of policies and procedures to protect technology information, environments, and systems.Position Description:
  • Performs activities including planning, providing technical leadership, and tracking projects and key task dates to other Security staff, programmers, and technical staff.
  • Participates with development, maintenance, and testing of operating systems and applications security; Reviews existing data systems security issues and procedures.
  • Uses Security monitoring tools to review, investigate, and recommend appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents.
  • Responds to problems for all levels of associates; participates in 24 X 7 production system security issue and event handling. Develops management reporting tools.
  • Communicates with customers and management to ensure customers’ security requirements are met and in compliance with company standards. Demonstrated organizational and cross-functional communications skills to disseminate and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Develops processes to ensure Security is in compliance with policies and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field.
  • Four to six years of professional IT experience with preference given to prior experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Incident Response team, eDiscovery, or Threat Analysis team.
  • Experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
  • Experience identifying trends and patterns in data.
  • Experience with risk scoring and threat analysis tools.
  • Experience with user and entity behavior analytics.
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security controls and tools.
  • Experience with SIEM tools.
  • Experience with email journaling systems.
  • Experience with eDiscovery and Legal search tools.
  • Experience with email phishing test strategies and tools.
  • Experience with adaptive email protection tools.
  • Cyber security industry certifications such as SANS, ISACA, CEH is desired.
Compensation Pay Disclosure:Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.$84,930 - $141,560 USDBe Well.
